School Board meeting Monday to be live streamed as public banned from attending

The Proctor School Board will restrict the public from attending its regular Monday meeting on March 23.  However, they plan to conduct their meeting interactively with a live stream because of the health pandemic.

The Board will use Google Meet, available to schools at no charge.  Only two board members and the Business Manager will be at the meeting while the rest participate remotely.  The meeting will start at 7 p.m.

Public participation will be available by request in meeting link from the school district office.

The Board will follow Minnesota law in conducting the meeting.  The meeting will take place at the regularly scheduled site at Pike Lake.  The Board Chair Jennifer McDonald, Clerk Lynn Peterson, Business Manager Stephan Anderson will be at the meeting according to an addendum in the Board Agenda Packet.

Items for discussion or action include:

• Superintendent Update

Discuss the potential postponement or cancellations of spring activities and events.

Postpone discussion about selecting a date for a potential board-working meeting regarding cooperative agreements in activities.

The Proctor-Hermantown Excellence in Education Banquet is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 6th at the Proctor Black Woods Banquet Center. 

• Graduation and chaperoning the bus for the return to Proctor High School for the "All Night Grad Party.”

• Public Relations Update
